I have heard nothing regarding ATC and SITE. Not sure how that would work either. They both have a decent concentration in urban areas- and I have not heard anything about ATC being in the acquisiition mode.
I suspect that there will be some type of acquisition announcement at CTIA.
I checked with a few good sources- and no one would confirm or deny this. No one had any knowledge of this though.
The rumors have been persistant that SCI will be acquired. I have heard of a backwards merger with AAT- but there is not confirmation of that.
I would also tend to agree with you that SCI/Global would seem more likely just because of Global's obvious hunger for product lately.
Not sure Crown has the desire to bid competitively against Global.
