I would just like to pass on a bit of information which may be of interest to landowners entering into a lease with Crown. I was RIPPED-OFF by them on my lease a few years back. Other landowners in my area are receiving two to five times more than me. I was rushed into the lease on 2001 with no knowledge of how a lease should be arranged. In other words, they (Crown) took me for a ride. Don't believe anything they say or promis. Get a good lawyer. I had a lawyer but this type of lease was new to him. Beware!!
